How much can a company expect to save?
That’s depends on which solution is chosen – typically, we find a significant cost savings coupled with a reduced amount of service work.
What makes you different from a PEO, HRO or ASO broker?
PEO, HRO, and ASO brokers are great, and they utilize our services quite often. But we are much more than just a one-solution broker – we are a human capital general agency. Our entire staff is educated in every facet of human capital. Every member of our team has an extensive background in every solution we offer at SOS Consulting. We educate our partners on human capital outsourcing and work with you to build a business in addition to your current one.
What solutions do you offer?
We offer complete end-to-end solutions as well as individual human capital solutions.
What happens if you have duplicate submissions for two different brokers?
We process the same quotes for both brokers and make both aware there is dual activity. The company will ultimately decide who they think is the best fit for them.
Why would I use SOS Consulting – couldn’t I do this?
Great question – our relationships are extensive and many are exclusive. Often, we are compensated more by our partners because of our volume. The other caveat is that the sheer amount of paperwork, number gathering, and calls would inundate the average person. If you priced every solution we offer, it would take 3 years to gather the quotes – but it only takes us 7-10 days to consistently deliver results.
How do I know that the solution providers you deal with are financially sound?
We take all of our solution providers through an extensive vetting process. Each PEO, for example, has provided us with their financials, their last 5 years’ renewals for their medical plans, and multiple current client references.
Do you work with companies directly?
We work with companies that currently don’t utilize brokers/agencies, meaning they are currently in a PEO, ASO or HRO relationship. There are instances in which we do cross paths, in which case we will bring the current broker into the case and share revenue with them. This happens rarely, but has never been an issue.
What if I already have a PEO, ASO or HRO Provider?
This is often the case – and we’re here to make sure you’re getting the best deal. We’ll search for the best PEO, ASO, or HRO solutions and advise you of your best options, whether it’s your current provider or a different one. We provide the ability for one submission rather than collecting multiple quotes from each vendor and analyzing them alone.
Why do you ask for the documents you do to quote?
We believe that the RFP process is a time to learn the real challenges that a company is experiencing – and without asking the right questions, we can’t adequately do that. Because the solutions we offer are vital components of a company, we want to ensure that we have the right information in order to get the correct numbers from our solution providers. This enables us to determine the best fit for your prospect.
How do I submit business to SOS Consulting?
You can contact your human capital strategist or you can upload the cases to our website. All of your information and your client’s is secure and encrypted.
What if I want to carve out certain aspects of the solution?
With all of our solutions, you have the option to choose only what you need. The only exception is that in a PEO relationship, the payroll has to be done with the PEO.
What’s the difference between an administration fee and a service percentage?
PEOs can offer two types of pricing for their services: a flat administration fee, or a service percentage of payroll. An administration fee is the amount charged by a PEO for their services – it is collected with payroll cycles. But if a PEO charges a service percentage, their fee increases with their payroll at an obvious disadvantage to the client. At SOS, we believe in transparency – all of our PEO providers charge a flat administration fee which is clearly defined.
